Oh wow, this is quite a new uptake on your usual drawings. I love it. It's very symbolic and his hair (although unusual but) quite original.

Is that an apple that's floating in front of him? What's it for? Is it to symbolize sacrifice?

I love the hands though.

i put it in the location of his heart becuase knowledge seems to be what drives and what destroys severus. :) plus I know a certian girl who took a bite out of it and began severus's descent into madness ^__^

Yes it is quite different than my usual.it was rather random in it's making but I'm so glad that you enjoyed it nonetheless. ^___^

Once again, you've put much symbolism in the details... I guess I get it, but it's not easy to explain. Let's say the apple is highly biblical and represents temptation; so Severus is not sure wether to turn to the good side (the one with the bird/dove and the doe) and the bad side (where the wolf is threatening to attack the poor little doe), he is sort of trapped in the spiderweb the Dark Lord has spun... Or maybe it's just me? :nerd: Interesting effects on Severus's hair, and I simply love his hands! :aww:

Oh really? Because I just felt like an idiot when I read your reply to the first comment which had been posted while I was still writing mine... The apple as a symbol for wisdom - maybe as a reference to Isaac Newton's "discovery"? - suddenly struck me much more likely than my pseudo-biblical interpretation. :blushes:

Just I can say...WOW. :wow: This is the most original vision of this character!!! Very symbolic picture! All these apple, dark mark and web, doe (is it the doe at his left, isn't it?).. What's symbolise the wolf and the bird?..
And I loved his interesting image. His hair is so unusual..:) And I absolutely luv his hands. :aww:

Yeap that is the infamous doe! :D The wolf is symbolic of severus's fears and the decaying dove is severus's progression into his bitter adult form.
